Happy reading!
Oh gosh – I am not very DIY when it comes to sewing and crafts. I can’t imagine making my own clothes.
I like the idea of taking time to enjoy our food. I tend to have the opposite problem – I eat SO slow. But then I might not be savoring it because I often reading at the same time.
I am terrible at crafts and thus I married an artist and my children make all sorts of things – well, I do knit dish clothes and baby blankets to keep my hands busy on the rare occasions I watch TV or a movie.
I am working on setting aside time to actually eat and make a small meal, 2 times a day. It makes me feel better – also I work at not watching TV or reading when eating. My digestive track says this is good!
I love to encourage people to express themselves with homecrafts especially with things pulled from the re-cycle bin, if you like the results, it’s delightful, and if you don’t, just through it back in the bin. A lot of what we discard (re-cycle) has lots of beauty and new uses. So keep your favorites, the colorful, funky ones especially, for a rainy day.
