    @Vered – Great! Let me know what you think.

    Hey, great tips for going green this halloween! I wish halloween was celebrated in Australia more, it’s a bit of a non-event here, most people grow up without ever experiencing it… Where I live currently is the first place I’ve ever seen it practised in 31 years!

  4. It’s awesome to see tips for being green, even on Halloween (hmm I think that rhymes :) ).

  5. greenandchic says:

    @Ross – You can celebrate on your own! Just dress up and ask for candy door-to-door, ha!

    @Justin – Totally!

  6. Wow… another chance to be green that I didn’t even consider. Thanks for keeping us all focused on what makes sense.

  7. Thanks for the links Carla!

    One thing I’ve always liked about Halloween is that what kids get doesn’t depend on their family’s financial situation. Even if a kid has a crappy costume, she’s going to get just as much candy as all the other kids. Though, as a Mom, I would be happier with less candy :-)

    @Kim – I would be less happier with less candy (for myself!) was well. :)

    Hi! Great info to spread the green awareness!

    Hi Carla: I think recycling costumes, from your first link, is a great idea. Kids can exchange costumes with their cousins and siblings. Using a perfectly good costume only once is such a waste.

  11. Hello, I have just started up a blog website and I’ve started making somewhat diverse articles. Do you object if I write about this article? Obviously I will provide you and this site full credit.
